Solar Power - on residency in Spain - Joya Arte y Ecologìa
In the summer of 2023, in rural Andalucía, Spain, my days were ruled by the sun and the moon. The heat slows you down; the moon makes you aware of its movement each night. With the sun beating down on my back and cracked clay beneath my feet, I made a mark using found red clay and repositioned nearby stones to form a horizon line — clay on clay, in situ.
